Pair of saw headrigs in tandem arrangement to get two planks in a single passage.
The first headrig is moveable and assembled on a strong frame with sliding roller guides. Positioning is carried out using ball screws and brushless motor.
The second headrig is fixed. Plank thicknesses are controlled by a 2 axis electronic positioner which allows simultaneous positioning of the headblocks on the log carriage and the moveable headrig.
